Karen headed to the Eastern Shore of Virginia and met up with Don Guynn, the owner of Virginia Hang Gliding.
Although hang gliding may seem easy and care-free, it can be dangerous if you don’t know what you’re doing! Therefore, Virginia Hang Gliding offers tandem hang gliding adventures for anyone looking to see things from a different perspective.
Don has been flying hang gliders for 34 years, and the business was started in 2013.
When you hang glide, you ride in a little “sack” as Karen calls it.
After she gets suited up in protective gear, she is ready to rock!
Just a short time passes before Karen is at ease and is loving the ride! She even flies along side and then ABOVE the clouds!!
We are pretty sure that this is as close as a person can get to flying through the air like a super hero!
