Need for Speed
Many of you may know by now: Ashley is somewhat of an adrenaline junkie. She spoke to NASCAR driver Mark Wertz about local short track racing, and then she visited Langley Speedway for race night.
This time, she returned to Langley Speedway to get into the NASCAR race car, and take a few laps around the track!
The Rush of the Challenge
Mark’s favorite part of racing is the challenge of racing side-by-side with all of the other cars on the track, and the art of setting up then making a pass!
Each weekend is a new challenge, and Mark has been winning a lot lately. He says its the cumulative average of his driving skills, the car and last but not least- the team!
Let’s Go!
Mark helps Ashley suit up in the proper safety gear, then she gets in the car. It’s time to rock and roll- NASCAR style!
