What Causes Distracted Driving?
John tells us about some of the top things that cause distracted driving! Cellphones are at the top of that list. The majority of accidents that they see at Huffman & Huffman involving distracted drivers, were drivers with a phone in their hand!
Others that top off the list are: eating, having kids in the car and changing settings in the car- to name a few.
How to Minimize Risk
You can minimize the risk of distracted driving by going hands free in your vehicle. As tempting as it may be to answer a text while driving, don’t do it! In fact: it is ILLEGAL to drive with your phone in your hand!
To demonstrate how hard it is to drive while distracted, John challenges Ashley and Quincy to a game of red light, green light while Patricia tries to distract them. Watch to see who wins!
