March is Brain Injury Awareness Month. Our friend John Paulson joins us on this episode of Living 757 to talk about brain injuries.
John explains that traumatic brain injuries, or TBI’s, are a silent epidemic. Huffman and Huffman sees a lot of TBI’s when it comes to clients who have been involved in an accident. The crazy part? A lot of them don’t even know that they have experienced a traumatic brain injury!
Mr. Paulson tells us that sometimes symptoms of a TBI don’t happen right away. Days later is when you start to notice things aren’t quite right. Some symptoms someone with a TBI might experience are short term memory loss, forgetfulness, nausea, dizziness and more. Make sure if you’re having any of these symptoms after a blow to the head- seek medical care ASAP.
If you were in an accident and didn’t initially go to the hospital, see a doctor as soon as symptoms appear.
If you’ve been injured in a car accident, make sure you call Huffman & Huffman and let their family help your family.
The law firm of Huffman & Huffman focuses on personal injury law, including serious injuries, car accidents, tractor-trailer and truck accidents, drunk driving accidents, motorcycle accidents, wrongful death, medical malpractice, product liability and other types of personal injury.
