Summer is for Adventure

The ‘Adventure Summer’ fun begins at check-in with arrival at Base Camp. Each child is outfitted with their official brown fedora, compass, and mission assignments. Then it’s off to unravel the mystery of the Lost Temple.  Don’t worry there’s help from the intrepid archeologist Sonoran Smith and his protégé Sam.

Thrilling camp activities with Professor Brown await budding archeologists at Destination Dig. The adventure continues with Volcano Glo pool parties, lagoon fishing, and of course, the Lost Temple adventure itself. Young explorers up for a challenge can soar through the air on a zipline. Add to the sense of adventure with the Chalice Rock Wall Climb.  There’s even a chance to dig for treasure and ancient relics.

How Do They Do It

Every year the creative team behind the legacy events at the Princess strives to create the kind of summer fun that captures the imagination and creates lasting memories.

Recently they celebrated ‘Superhero Summer at the Princess’.  Last year kids blasted alien invaders with the resort’s space-themed, ‘Outta This World’ summer event.

How do they keep coming up with these hyper-imaginative experiences? Who’s behind all these amazing summer adventures that will have your kids voluntarily walking away from their video games and gleefully playing outdoors for hours?

Fun Isn’t Just For Kids

Host, Kate Longworth is on the hunt for answers on an Arizona Yurview special, ‘Adventure Summer at the Princess’.  What she uncovers may surprise you! Kate shares that “the fun in the sun isn’t just for kids.”  The pleasures of summer at the Princess for adults include poolside spa escapes, celebratory dining, and refreshing summertime libations.
