Kate Longworth is a proven sports guru, leading multiple live telecasts for various media outlets in Arizona and California. Currently, she’s the Pre-game host and In-game reporter for Fox Sports Arizona’s Diamondbacks.
In addition, Longworth is well connected to the sports community here locally as the pre-game host and sideline reporter for Grand Canyon University Sports on YurView. She has also covered college football and basketball games for the Big Ten, Mountain West and Pac-12 Networks.
After graduating from the University of Arizona, she worked with Major League Baseball’s Arizona Fall League before becoming the first female sports anchor and reporter at KPSP-TV (CBS) in Palm Springs. From there, she moved to the Bay Area to become an anchor, reporter, and host for Comcast SportsNet and NBC Sports. Kate also served as the in-game reporter for the Oakland A’s and Raiders.
Kate is married and has two young sons, Nash and Jace.
