Comicare

The Arizona non-profit Comicare delivers comic books to children in medical facilities. The volunteers dress up as superheroes while delivering joy and smiles to the kids.

Evel Knievel Museum 

Daredevil and showman Evel Knievel was the first to jump motorcycles in the way that he did and he inspired a whole generation of people. Check out the Evel Knievel Museum in Topeka, Kansas and relive this incredible part of 70’s history and culture.

Granite Mountain Interagency Hotshot Crew Learning and Tribute Center

On June 30, 2013 the world mourned the loss of the Granite Mountain Hotshots fire crew. The community collected items that commemorated the nineteen fallen hotshots and the nonprofit group was born: the Granite Interagency Hostshot Crew Learning and Tribute Center. 

Hall of Flame 

The Hall of Flame museum houses a collection, preservation and exhibit of objects relating to the history of firefighting. You can also learn about fire safety and about the heroes who have died in the line of duty or who have been recognized for acts of heroism.

Plumaje

Plumaje is a non-profit organization located in Arizona that promotes the history, rights, culture and events of the LGBTQ community in Spanish. Their mission is to unify, and strengthen the Hispanic – LGBTQ community by offering educational and supportive resources.
