Patricia, Quincy and Ashley dish on everything from hotdogs to hawks on this fun filled episode of Living 757.

We continue, in partnership with Coastal Virginia Magazine, to salute our healthcare heroes who are risking so much to keep us safe and healthy during this worldwide Pandemic.  This week, we tip our hats to:

Stephen Bronaugh, MD, Naval Medical Center, Portsmouth

David Jones, MD, from Riversides Pulmonary Specialists, Shore

We salute you and thank you for all that you do!

Patricia sits down with Robert “Keith” Cartwright, a Behavioral Health Wellness Consultant at the Office of Prevention Services DBDS, to learn what ACES means and how children who have undergone these forms of adversity can begin their recovery.

If your love your fur babies like we do, you know how devastating it can be for them to be diagnosed with the big “C”.  Whether it’s figuring out your options or figuring out funding for treatment, Fetch A Cure can help.  Sara Moseley, the Director of Development of Fetch a Cure joins Ashley and Patricia and shares they many ways they are helping pet owners and helping the community.

With names like Yosemite, Glacier, Sequoia and Everglades, you can expect open spacious floorplans in these luxury apartments of Park 216.  Quincy goes to Park 216 in the heart of Northern Suffolk, to get a personal tour of their beautiful homes in their resort-like setting.

Virginia is so full of history!  Jamie Helmick, the Manager of Volunteer Services at the Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation came on the show to tell us not only about their amazing museums, but also how the foundation is working to keep visitors safe during the Covid 19 pandemic.

How is virtual schooling going?  Our very own Associate Producer, Deanna Dallas, gets “on the other side of the camera” to share her experiences with virtual schooling her 5-year-old daughter, Rowan.  How does Deanna manage being a full-time mom, with a full-time job who now, also has to be a full-time teacher?  Watch and see!

As always, we end our show on a musical note.  This week we get to enjoy an original by Gracie Carol, a country music artist from Nashville, Tennessee.
