Karen and Barry had the chance to take a trip on a deep sea fishing boat on this edition of Destination Virginia.
Karen gets to chat with First Mate Ethan Hernet, who tells her that his job is to look out for the safety of everyone on board to ensure that everyone has an enjoyable trip!
The ride that Karen and Barry decided on is a four-hour trip to the mouth of the Chesapeake Bay to do one of the locals favorite things- fish!
Even if you are someone that has never fished before, this is the perfect trip for you. The Rudee Mariner has bait, ice, tackle, rods, everything you need to go fishing.
If you are someone like Barry that doesn’t like to get dirty, there are two deck hands on each tripon the Rudee Mariner. That means that someone is there to help if you decide you don’t want to touch the fish you catch!
Karen and Barry both caught several Croaker, and they had the best time learning how to fish!
