Years ago, after being bitten by a zombie dog, Chef Nick Rabar of Avenue N Restaurant turned into a zombie himself. He was faced with a dilemma: leave the restaurant business and consume human flesh or continue to make delicious meals. Thankfully for mankind, he chose the latter and we have been blessed with a world with one less flesh eating zombie and this recipe for a Roasted Pumpkin Grilled Cheese Sandwich to make for your warm-blooded family this Halloween.

What You’ll Need
  • Vermont Cheddar Bread
  • Roasted Pumpkin
  • Sliced Country Ham
  • Baby Kale
  • Gruyere Cheese
  • Fontina Cheese
  • Sage Butter
How to Do it
  • Assemble the sandwich
  • Light the oven* (If you are in fact a zombie, be extra careful during this step)
  • Griddle with butter over medium heat until bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted
  • Enjoy!
