Giving back despite their age, Las Vegas dancers help other children in need

In Partnership with Centennial Subaru

Arabesque Dance and Fitness studio in Southwest Las Vegas not only helps students in our community become good dancers, but more importantly, they help dancers learn lifelong skills in order to be great humans!

For owner, Jill Kellmyer, the dream of owning a dance studio started when she was a girl. She fell in love with teaching and dreamed to one day bring the joy and passion of dance to other children. For the past seven years, she has done just that here in Las Vegas.

Jill also recognizes the importance of providing community service opportunities to the students she teaches. Throughout the year her dancers bring joy to the community by performing at places like senior homes, parks and more.

For the past several years, they have also participated in Operation Christmas Child, which allows students to thoughtfully put together a shoebox full of items with another child in mind. The boxes are collected and distributed before the holidays and can also be tracked so that students can learn more about who received their box and build a relationship with the recipient.

It’s a great reminder that giving back is something everyone can do, no matter their age!
