Lake Havasu City is Arizona’s Coolest Playground

If it is fun on the water you are looking for you won’t be disappointed. You can rent a boat or take a guided day trip. You’ll find ways to enjoy skiing, paddle boarding, wake boarding and transom surfing.

Lake Havasu City

When it comes to hiking and trails to explore Lake Havasu has some of the best. Sara Park has a variety of wonder hiking and biking trails. Hiking is a great way to explore the desert southwest, mountain vistas, wildlife and views of the lake.

If golfing is what you love LHC has championship courses and executive courses. The courses offer fantastic views of the lake, lush landscaping and of course, beautiful weather.

With 300 days of sunshine a year Lake Havasu City is host to many wonderful events.

In the fall when the weather cools IJSBA World Finals (International Jet Ski Boat Association) comes to town. This October event features the best of the best and people come from all over the world to compete. In the watercraft world it is the premier event.

The Thunder on the River Drag Boat Races also come to town in October and feature boats doing 200 MPH. It is a loud and fast and fantastic fun event!

In November the Chillin N Swillin Beer Festival takes place with over forty vendors. For beer enthusiasts it is the place to be.

A photographers dream is the Havasu Balloon Festival and Fair in January. Over 70 balloons from all over the world fill the skies of Lake Havasu. This event has beauty and excitement for all ages.

January 1, 2, 3, 2016, will host a new event; the London Bridge Renaissance Faire. A perfect place to enjoy the traditional food, drink and entertainment of the Renaissance is in the shadow of the London Bridge.

In February the skies of Lake Havasu City light up with Winter Blast. Pyro technicians from all over the world come to LHC to display their skills and fireworks.

If a cold drink, great food and lively entertainment are what your getaway calls for Lake Havasu City has it all.

When it comes to dining you can find pizza for a casual family dinner or fine dining. The Martini Bay inside the London Bridge Resort is a venue for fine dining, great wine and sunsets to be remembered.

The restaurants around LHC are small quaint and friendly. The Red Onion serves breakfast and lunch. The made from scratch pancakes are local favorites.

The Brewery Tour is a good way to experience some of the local tastes; Mudshark Brewing Company and RestaurantBarley Brothers Brewery and College Street Brewhouse and Pub.

If you don’t want to dine in you can drive the boat up to the dock and order out to the boat.

The LHC nightlife features live entertainment with bands or DJs and dancing or you can chill at a great bar. Whatever you are looking for LHC has you covered.
