Michigan Landed One of Canada’s Best Scorers in Ignas Brazdeikis

Ignas Brazdeikis is one of the best players in Canada and he’s heading to the University of Michigan. He’s a very versatile 6’8″ forward and one of the most proven scorers you will see in college basketball’s freshman class next year.

He’s a southpaw who can get his own shot at all three levels. He’s a volume scorer too, meaning he likes to have the ball in his hands. He thrives with freedom and he also thrives with volume.

“I’m an aggressive player”, said Brazdeikis. “I like to make plays at all times and look for my teammates and make plays for myself. I’m just a player that whatever the team needs I can get done.”

He can make the three. He’s got the strong body to absorb contact and he’s very crafty around the lane with his footwork and various angles.

He’s physically mature and he possesses a college-ready offensive game. The keys are going to be how he adapts to structure and how he defends, but there’s no doubt he’s going to be able to put up points right away for Michigan next year.
