Over the middle podcast, jeremy crabtree, high school football, football recruiting

Yurview, the exclusive regional network from Cox Communications, announced the latest addition to its high school football coverage with “Over The Middle”, a weekly podcast aimed at bringing fans a unique perspective on the players, coaches, teams, and stories that shape the sport across the country.

Over The Middle will be hosted by nationally recognized recruiting and high school sports analyst Jeremy Crabtree, formerly of ESPN and Rivals.com. The podcast will feature guests from across the nation that can provide in depth analysis and insights around recruiting, coaching, player development and more.

Over The Middle is a great addition to our high school football lineup”, said John Parris, Director of Content, YurView. “Tapping into this growing medium and providing fans another way to get exclusive insight into the sports they love is a perfect addition to the live events, stories and video that we bring them every day on YurView and YurView.com. Having Jeremy on board just brings our coverage to another level.”

“While podcasts are a relatively new phenomenon, high school football’s roots are in radio broadcasts going all the way back to the 1930s.”, added Jeremy Crabtree. “It only makes sense that a national-level podcast focused on high school football and recruiting is the next evolution to that nearly a century old tradition. There are so many amazing stories to be told, and we’re going to tell them every week in Over the Middle. I’m thankful YurView is giving me an opportunity to share them with users every week.”

On the first show, ESPN’s Mitch Sherman is scheduled to join to talk about the early signing period, and YurView announcer Chris Harris (now in his 10th year with Cox/YurView) will be on to look at Arizona’s current crop of high major QB prospects. Plus we’ll take a look at the top games being featured by YurView and YurView.com.
