Recruiting Spotlight: Edna Karr vs McDonogh 35

There will be a number of D1 prospects on the field this Thursday night when Edna Karr takes on McDonogh 35 on YurView and YurView.com. Recruiting expert Lee Brecheen breaks down the players to watch and what schools are looking at them in this Recruiting Spotlight.

Jamier Jackson

“The surprise of the team is a kid I watched last year who’s a senior now Jamier Jackson, the defensive end…This kid could end up with 20 sacks before the year’s over.”

Devin Bush

Class of 2019 defensive back who is also wanted by most of the SEC and the hometown Tigers. He has two interceptions on the season, and is lightning when he gets the ball in his hands, as evidenced by his 67 yard punt return earlier this season. Lee thinks he’s “probably the best junior corner in the United States”.

Lawrence Keys

An Auburn and LSU recruit, Keys is one of the top wide receivers in Louisiana.

“Lawrence Keys is one of the best skill guys in the slot that you’ll see play.”

Lejohn Howard

Lejohn is a three year starter. “He might sign as a quarterback or a receiver or free safety. He’s kind of like Laron Landry. He was a quarterback, played free safety at LSU and the rest is history.”
