Hey Ivany! True or False?

Sponsored by: State Forty Eight Clothing

Hiiiiii friends, Can you believe we’re in February now? It’s like one minute I’m
thinking about my new year resolutions and the next it’s almost Valentine’s day. Life
fact, I’m not the best gift giver for the holiday, but I always figure it out.
Anyway, I’m glad you’re here because I’m excited for this new blog post. It’s
gonna be a fun one, I’ll be answering a few true or false questions about me so that if
you don’t know, now you know 😉 Also, if you’ve been following me on Instagram
@Ivanytv then you probably saw who I sat down and talked with about our latest
show, Episode 5, but more on this later. Alright, let’s begin!

TRUE OR FALSE
1. I love working for the new show, Life Untapped?
Umm, easy question, True! Especially because I learn about new
incredible places and people such as, Mike Ferguson with Big Chicken
Hot Rods . (You can catch him on our latest episode of Life Untapped.)

2. I went skydiving or bungee jumping?
True, I already checked those two off my list and yes both were super
scary. Life fact: I cried like a baby before free falling with the bungee
cord, BUT I will say I felt invincible afterwards.

3. I’ve slept walked before? False, I think…

4. I think Disney is better than Pixar? Ummm, no answer.

5. I’ve watched the original Star Wars trilogy films?
False, ahhh don’t be shocked or mad. I recently started watching them,
and they’re pretty fun and entertaining. I was inspired to watch them
because in our episode 5, during the Stars Brews segment, I was
amazed at the many fans and also curious on why they’re so devoted to
these classics. I can see why now. Kudos to the set and graphic
designers.

6. I wrote a song or book? True, in high school I was in a talent show and I
chose to write and sing my song in front of an overwhelming amount of
people. It’s somewhat of a blur, I still can’t believe I did that!

7. I love American cheddar cheese? False, gross!

8. What about peas? Just stop, no, negative, eww!

9. I’ve been to the Grand Canyon in Arizona?
True. When I was younger, I went on a road trip with the fam and it was
a great adventure and also, very hot. But having lived in Yuma, AZ the
last couple of years, I grew to appreciate the beauty of the desert and
what it entails aside from the heat. State 48 Apparel from Arizona also
catches all the charm on their shirts.

(Custom State 48 Apparel shirt, I feel cool!)

10. My favorite beer is a pilsner? False. I actually enjoy IPA’s there so
tasty and yummy. I haven’t found a favorite one yet, there are too many
out there to decide. I think next time I’ll participate at Hamilton’s Tavern Triple IPA Challenge to see if I can find one.

We’ll there you have it, I hope you learned a little bit more about me in this fun
questionnaire. I’m throwing this last fact as a freebie, I LOVE BURLESQUE
PERFORMANCES and check this out, you won’t believe it, I’ve actually never even
been to one. How can that be Ivany? Great question, I’m glad you asked. I’d have to
say watching the movie Cabaret, Chicago, and Moulin Rouge did the trick, which
brings me to this next bit of excitement.

In episode 5, we cover these two amazing
places that have cabaret and burlesque performances. Isn’t that cool! The first place
we filmed at was the House of Mood in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. This place is the
place to gain some real life confidence. If you’ve never had the guts to put yourself
out there and perform like these ladies do, this is the place that will change your
mind. If you don’t believe me, watch the show and let me know what you think 😉

The second place was at Vin de Syrah in the Gaslamp Quarter of San Diego,
California. This place is gorgeous, it’s majestic, it’s freaking cool. I interviewed Jessie
Pollastrini, the event coordinator who was super sweet.

(Jessie and I striking a pose.)

They also have great Wine Tasting events on Friday & Saturdays.

What was interesting about our conversation before the interview was that we
have some friends in common, what a small world. Anyway, Vin de Syrah has great
events on the weekends that include amazing wine selections, impressive
performances, and awesome music. They actually have a fun Galentine’s event coming
up featuring a burlesque performance. I think this is it, this will be my first time
watching one.

Well my friends I hope you enjoyed this read as much as I had fun writing it, as
all ways with love, Ivany Villalobos, cheers!
