Never heard of a cigar box guitar?
These gorgeous instruments date back to the Civil War, a time when people didn’t always have the means to buy things that weren’t a necessity. So they got crafty!
Made out of wooden cigar boxes, these instruments are not only beautiful, but they teach us how important music is to people, and how they will get very creative in order to add music to their lives.
But how good can a cigar box really sound? Well, you’re in for a treat! Anthony Rosano and the Conqueroos join Karen and Patrick in the studio for a fantastic celebration of this instrument as they play their original song -Wicked Grin. Enjoy!
