In this episode of Destination Virginia, Barry and Karen explore the Virginia Air & Space Center in Hampton! Meeting with Bob Griesmer, Executive Director and CEO, they learn about the past, present and future of the museum and about the accomplishments of space exploration and other aeronautical achievements.

They explore the STEM Program demonstrations offered for children at the Virginia Air & Space Center, learning the value in educating children about science and technology. Barry and Karen each test their skills in a variety of the hands on simulators available at the center, including the ability for guests to build and launch their own virtual space shuttle! They learn about the unique displays of space capsules that can only be found at the Virginia Air and Space Center! Also, Bob and his team explain the value of hosting an event at the center, where accommodations can be made for any occasion, from a birthday party to an event of 2,000 guests!
