Eye on the Alamo – Villanova a Lock in the East?

After Kate Longworth and Eddie House were joined by Chris Harris and Rod Thompson in the first segment of Eye on the Alamo to talk about the winners and losers of opening weekend, Chris DiSano and Adam Finkelstein joined the show.

DiSano looked at the Rhode Island loss to Duke, after Coach K’s Blue Devils knocked Dan Hurley’s Rams out in the second round. Another matchup may have lined up better for URI, but it still has to be considered a successful season after they won an NCAA Tournament game for the second straight year.

Next, Eddie and Kate brought in Adam Finkelstein to talk about the East region, where the chalk held up the most out of all the regions. Playing in Boston on Friday will be #1 Villanova vs #5 West Virginia and #2 Purdue vs #3 Texas Tech.
