Eye on the Alamo – Michigan vs Villanova Play for 2018 National Championship

Well, the 2018 NCAA Tournament is coming to an end tonight when Michigan plays Villanova for the National Championship. From the play-in games to Championship Monday, Eye on the Alamo has had you covered every step of the way.

It was a thrilling run for Loyola Chicago, and it looked like it would go all the way to the National Championship game for large stretches of their Final Four game vs Michigan. But the Wolverines made a furious second-half comeback to advance to Monday’s title game.

In the second semifinal, two college hoops heavyweights met in Villanova and Kansas, but the Wildcats DID NOT MISS. For every Kansas run, Villanova responded, and when the game was over, Jay Wright’s team had hit a Final Four record 18 three-point field goals – 13 of them coming in the first half. Bill Self knew his team was in trouble by that point.
