For the 5th consecutive season, the University of West Florida and Cox Communications have partnered to bring all five Argonaut home football games to Yurview this fall. For the first time in history, UWF will play all home games at Pen Air Field on campus. The Argos open the season next Saturday (September 3) against the Warner Royals.
Yurview will air all games live in the network’s Florida and Louisiana markets. YurView Florida airs locally on Cox channel 2/1002 in Escambia County and channel 6/1006 in Okaloosa and South Walton counties. Yurview Louisiana airs on Cox channel 4/1004 in New Orleans, Baton Rouge and Lafayette.

The Argos football program has only been in existence since 2016 and have already become a national power. UWF has twice advanced to the Division II National Championship Game, taking home the title in 2019.

Since the program’s inaugural competitive season in 2016, the Argonauts has called Blue Wahoos Stadium in downtown Pensacola as its home. This season, UWF will get to play all home games on campus.
The Argos enter the 2022 season ranked nationally at No. 11 by the AFCA Division II Coaches. Last season, UWF finished 9-2 overall with a share of the Gulf South Conference regular season title.
