Ford Flashback: Chris Barnes’ Injuries Led Him to His Passion to Heal

In the year 2000, high school football in Oklahoma was bigger than ever but one undersized Union Redskin defensive end, Chris Barnes had people talking. The ultimate team player, Barnes lived his dreams by playing Division 1 football at the University of Tulsa under head coach Steve Kragthorpe. However, the battles he waged on the gridiron paled in comparison to those that he waged against his own injuries. Those injuries though lead him to where he is today.

Now that Dr. Barnes is helping athletes, he has grown his chiropractic firm, Tensegrity Chiropractic in midtown Tulsa. When he’s not healing, he is an accomplished videographer and lives an active lifestyle while caring for his four children.

You can watch the full 2000 Union vs. Broken Arrow game replay which was the very first game played at Broken Arrow’s Tiger Stadium, and be sure to catch all of our upcoming Ford Game of the Week live on YurView Cox Channel 3 or yurview.com.
