Sights set on another Title
Catholic captured the Division I state championship in Louisiana after going 12-3 last season. With the amount of talent they have back, anything short of a repeat is going to be at least slightly disappointing.
Entering this Friday, Catholic has lost only one game and sits at 4-1. They have also beaten St. Amant in five of the last seven matchups in the series.
But one of those two wins in the series for St. Amant since 2011 came last season. And even in losses, St. Amant usually finds a way to play a close one against Catholic.
Coming into this week, St. Amant also owns a 4-1 record. Their only loss came in double overtime on the road.

C Kenneth Beau Gremillion – St. Amant
Gremillion anchors a big St. Amant offensive line that usually finds a way to bully the opposition.
Standing at 6-foot-3 and 340 pounds, Gremillion is one of the biggest centers in Louisiana.
TE Brandon Hubicz – Catholic High
Hubicz is one of the 100 best tight ends in the 2019 class. He is also the No. 81 overall player in Louisiana.
He has received offers from Louisiana Tech, Navy, Mississippi Valley State and New Mexico State.
Also keep an eye on Catholic quarterback Cameron Dartez, who is off to a great start in 2018.
