Game Highlights

A big Zachary pass play by sopomore quarterback Keilon Brown resulted in a connection with junior wide receiver Chandler Whitfield. The pass was a 53 yard completion, and was nearly the only time through the game that Zachary was able to force the ball down the field. Whitfield made the adjustments necessary to complete the pass, as others cleared the way for him. This pass stood out as being very necessary in such a defense heavy game, where both teams struggled to move the ball at all.

Player of the Game

The player of the game is Darweshi Sanders, the Broncos’ senior running back who scored every touchdown of the game. The three touchdown runs by Sanders started, solidified, and finalized the Zachary lead.
