Loren Montgomery became the head coach of the Bixby Spartans in 2010. Over the last 12 years he has steadily built the Spartan football program into one of the state’s perennial powers. Bixby won 7 Class 6A II championships from 2014 through 2021. This year Bixby moved up to Class 6A I where their success continued as the Spartans won their 8th football championship in the last nine years.
