Ford Game of the Week: Millwood Falcons vs Heritage Hall Chargers – from Thursday, September 2nd, 2021.
Millwood went 6-2 in the pandemic plagued 2020 season. The Falcons advanced to the third round of the 2A Playoffs. Running backs Micho Lavine and Rickey Hunt, Jr. should give coach Darwin Franklin’s team a strong ground attack.
The Chargers were 3A runners up the last two seasons. Coach Brett Bogert’s team will be a contender again this year behind triple threat Gavin Freeman, an excellent receiver, linebacker, and return man.

Thursday, Sept. 2, 2021 – Kansas GameTime Matchup
Bishop Carroll Golden Eagles vs. the Wichita Northwest Grizzlies – from Thursday, September 2nd, 2021.
The Golden Eagles are coming off a solid season in 2020. They made it all the way to the 5A semifinals a year ago, falling to their opponent in this game – Wichita Northwest. So, let’s just say they will be looking to avenge last season’s playoff loss.
The Grizzlies will be looking to return to the playoffs and hope for another chance at a state title after advancing to the 5A championship game last season.

Friday, Sept. 3, 2021 – Oklahoma Ford Game of the Week
Ford Game of the Week: Bixby Spartans vs Jenks Trojans – Friday, September 3 at 7:30 pm CT.
DO NOT MISS THIS ONE! An early-season showdown between Oklahoma’s defending 6A-I (Jenks) and 6A-II (Bixby) state champions. The two prep powerhouses met last season, with Bixby escaping with a thrilling 42-35 victory over the Trojans.

The Spartans have won three of the last four meetings against Jenks, including two straight. Bixby comes into the season ranked #1 in the state and #27 in the country.

Friday, Sept. 3, 2021 – Arizona GameTime
Centennial Coyotes vs Chandler Wolves – Friday, September 3 at 7:00 pm MT (9:00 pm CT).
The 2021 Arizona high school football season marks a special year for GameTime Arizona. This season is also the 40th season of televised high school football.
No better way to celebrate 40 years than with a big-time matchup of two of the top teams in the state. The Centennial Coyotes and Chandler Wolves face off in an early-season showdown.
Chandler comes into the season ranked #18 in the nation and #1 in the state. Centennial, who is known for upsets, has its eyes set on ending the Wolves 36 game winning streak.

Friday, Sept. 3, 2021 – Omaha GameTime
Omaha North Vikings vs. Omaha Westside Warriors – Friday, September 3rd at 7:00 pm CT.
The Vikings should be hungry coming into 2021. After not having a season in 2020, Larry Martin’s bunch could come roaring back into the metro football scene. His program has played for five state titles since 2012 and has won three.
The Warriors won the state title last season, but they will break in a new quarterback as well after Cole Payton’s brilliant three-year run at the helm came to an end. Senior running back Dominic Rezac is one of the few returning skill position players for Westside and should figure heavily into head coach Brett Froendt’s offensive plans.

Friday, Sept. 3, 2021 – Louisiana GameTime (CANCELED)
Jesuit Blue Jays vs Woodlawn Panthers (canceled due to Hurricane Ida)
Woodlawn is an up-and-coming team in Baton Rouge led by former LSU QB Marcus Randall as their head coach. They posted a couple of impressive victories last season with wins over Dutchtown and St. Amant. Woodlawn returns seven starters on defense, nine on offense, including four-star prospect, junior quarterback Rickie Collins.
Jesuit went 4-and-4 during the 2020 regular season and won a playoff game over St. Paul’s. The Blue Jays look to do even more this season under new head coach Ryan Manale who left De La Salle after nine successful seasons and three championship game appearances with the Cavaliers.
