Arizona high school football: #12 Desert Ridge Jaguars vs #5 Brophy Prep Broncos – Friday, November 19th at 7:00 pm MT (8:00 pm CT).
Desert Ridge
The 12th seeded Desert Ridge Jaguars have some versatile weapons on both sides of the ball. First among those weapons is Washington commit Lance Holtzclaw.

He’s been known to line up anywhere they need him, and anywhere he lines up, he seems to excel. He has 266 receiving yards on offense and 9 sacks on D.
Desert Ridge’s leading rusher is Jordan Wilson, who has run for 1,128 yards this season. On defense, KJ Miniefield is a crafty corner with 3 interceptions and 12 passes broken up as well as offers from Air Force, Idaho and Nevada.
Brophy College Prep
The Brophy Broncos are 6A’s #5 seed for some very good reasons. EJ Warner is playing his heart out – he’s 243 of 382 for 2,356 yards on the season. His favorite target is Taj Hughes, who averages 10.5 yards per catch. This season, he has racked up 778 receiving yards.

Friday, Nov. 19, 2021 – Louisiana GameTime
Louisiana high school football (second-round Division II Playoffs): #10 seed De La Salle Cavaliers vs #2 University Lab Cubs – Friday, November 19th at 7:00 pm CT.
De La Salle
The Panthers are the #10 seed in District II after controversy lead to forfeiture of some games. They’ll end up on the road for as long as they hang onto playoff contention. Which could be a while, as they’re looking like one of the best three teams in this bracket.
De La Salle proved how disruptive their defense is to a passing game with their 34-6 win over Teurlings in Round 1. They’ve only allowed opponents to score a total of 9 points in their last 4 games. Offensively, they are versatile but have had some serious traction with their ground game. Running backs PJ Martin and Myles Sider are their main weapons in that effort, along with four year starter Cole Milford.
U High
This will be the 4th time in 5 years that these two teams have met in the playoffs, including a 2017 championship meeting that ended with a W for the Cubs. They went all the way to the semifinals in 2020, and they’re coming into this game rested from first-round bye.
Their offense is anchored through the air by QB Blake Abney, and on the ground by RB Derrick Graham. Abney’s main targets are receivers Jason Barnes and Edan Stagg. Barnes has 31 carries for 661 yards and 8 TDs. Stagg has 27 carries for 518 yards as well as 8 TDs.
