Saints Gameday LIVE: In the Big Apple vs the Jets

Pregame show for Saints-Jets begins Sunday at 10:30am on Yurview

For the first time in three weeks, the New Orleans Saints will play a game on a Sunday. It is a welcome sight for the Black and Gold, even though they have not won a game since the month of October. Tune in at 10:30am for Saints Gameday on YurView as Victor Howell and Scott Shanle breakdown the X’s and O’s of the match-up, while Saints Insider Mike Nabors will be live from inside the Superdome with any last-minute updates.

Head coach Sean Payton hopes that facing off against the Jets is just what the doctor ordered and their five-game losing streak will end in New York. Since 1979, the Saints are 7-2 against the Jets with the last meeting coming in the 2017 season.

New York’s woeful defense might be the thing that spurs on a Saints offense that is having trouble finding its footing since Alvin Kamara, Jameis Winston and key offensive lineman have been sidelined. The Jets are ranked last in the NFL in total defense, giving up 38 points per game in their last five losses this season.

The Saints enter the contest on a five-game losing streak but find themselves still in the playoff hunt. New Orleans is tied with Carolina and Atlanta and are only a breath away from the final playoff spot if the season ended today.

Quarterback Taysom Hill is coming off a performance that he would like to forget. Hill did lead the team in passing and rushing but tossed four interceptions in a 27-17 loss to the Dallas Cowboys.

Tune in at 10:30pm for our live postgame show with Saints Tonight. Hear from Coach Payton and other one-on-one interviews with Saints players and Mike Nabors as they discuss the game, while Shanle and Victor breakdown the big plays.
