Yukon comes into the game at 1-1 on the season and ranked #10 in the Oklahoman’s Class 6A-I rankings. They lost in week one to rival Mustang 35-21 but rebounded with a crushing 62-20 victory over Deer Creek. Yukon’s head coach is Jeremy Reed.
Yukon runs what they call the “flexbone” offense. It’s led to huge offensive production this season including 460 total yards per game, 756 yards rushing (7.8 ypc) and 42 points per game. One thing is for sure, Yukon is going to run the ball and dare you to stop them.
Norman North has played only once this season, but it was an impressive 46-7 victory over Edmond Memorial. Their opening week’s game against Norman was canceled due to COVID-19 concerns. The Timberwolves are ranked #8 in the Class 6A-1 rankings, and the head coach is Justin Jones.
