Preview

Two long time Oklahoma powerhouses collide in an early-season OSSAA non-conference matchup, featuring two of the top running backs in the state.

Broken Arrow comes into the game at 1-0 on the season after an impressive 50-23 home victory over Bentonville West, Arkansas. Four-star Junior RB Maurion Horn led the team with 190 yds. on 13 carries and 2 TD’s. The Tigers are currently ranked #2 in the Max Preps OK High School Football Rankings.  Last season, Broken Arrow finished with an impressive 9-3 record, 6-1 in 6A-I District 1. They lost to eventual state champion Owasso in the state semi-final game.

Union looks to rebound after an opening season loss to Bixby, the #1 ranked team in Oklahoma. The Redskins are currently ranked #9 in the state. Senior RB and University of Arkansas commit AJ Green leads the Redskins offensive rushing attack. Union ended last season at 6-5 overall and 5-2 in 6A-I, District 2.
