Ford Game of the Week: Edmond Santa Fe vs. Norman North (Replay) 9-20-19

It was a rainy night in Norman, Oklahoma as the Edmond Santa Fe Wolves were in town to play the Norman North Timberwolves.  The start of the game was delayed about half an hour as inclement weather moved through the area.

Edmond Santa Fe took charge early.  Quarterback Jorgen Olsen hooked up early with Branden Caraway on a pass for 16 yards and a touchdown.  Santa Fe led 7-0. Then in the second quarter, Olsen found Talyn Shettron in the end zone for an 11-yard touchdown.   Santa Fe would take a 14-0 lead going into halftime.

In the third quarter, Norman North leaned heavily on junior running back Gabe Trevillison.  He would finish the game with 133 yards on 23 carries.  North pulled within a touchdown with 5:31 left in the third quarter.  It came on an 11-yard pass from Jackson Remualdo to Cale Cabbiness.

Micah Snoddy led Edmond Santa Fe in rushing.  He had 116 yards on 23 carries.  The teams battled to a stalemate in the fourth quarter and the Wolves were able to run out the clock.  The final score was Edmond Santa Fe 14, Norman North 7.
