Oklahoma will be without three players (starting defensive end Ronnie Perkins, running back Rhamondre Stevenson and receiver Trejan Bridges) due to suspensions, according to ESPN.

Undefeated LSU (13-0) returns for its second consecutive game at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, having already captured the SEC title vs. Georgia at the same site.

In their last meeting, LSU defeated Oklahoma 21-14 in the 2004 BCS National Championship Game in New Orleans.

LSU boasts the Home Depot Coach of the Year (Ed Orgeron), as well as the winners of the Heisman Trophy (quarterback Joe Burrow), Thorpe Award (safety Grant Delpit) and Biletnikoff Award (wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase). LSU is second nationally in passing yards (386.8).

With a victory against LSU in the CFP semifinals, Oklahoma would travel to New Orleans for the national championship (Jan. 13) vs. No. 2. Ohio State or No. 3 Clemson.
