The University of West Florida and Cox Communications have partnered to bring all UWF home games to Cox’s YurView and Cox Sports Television this season. This new partnership will bring Argonauts football into millions of homes not only across the Gulf Coast but across the country, five times this season.

YurView will air and stream all five home games live, starting with the September 21st matchup between the Argos and Virginia-Lynchburg. Cox Sports Television (CST) will air the games nationwide, beginning with the live broadcast of the UWF Virginia-Lynchburg game on September 21. The remaining four home games will be tape-delayed.

UWF is in its fourth season of football and has gained a large following among fans across the Southeast. In 2017, the Argonauts became the fastest start-up program to qualify for the postseason when they did so in their second year and eventually advanced to the Division II National Championship Game.

“We’ve had a great relationship with UWF over the years, but this partnership takes it to a new level,” said David Deliman, Cox’s Gulf Coast Market vice president. “The Argos have brought great football to downtown Pensacola, and now we get to showcase our hometown team to fans across the country.”

“We are thrilled to partner with Cox on our home football broadcasts,” UWF Athletics Director Dave Scott said. “As we continue to grow our football program and University, the ability to showcase UWF and Northwest Florida to a national audience makes for a great partnership.”
