Choctaw Going for G.O.L.D.
First year Head Coach Jake Corbin will be preaching G.O.L.D.: Gratitude, Ownership, Leadership and Discipline, as the standard at Choctaw. The Yellowjackets have won a combined 17 games the past three seasons. That’s the most combined wins over a three year period since the 1980-1982 teams produced 23 victories.

The junior running back has rushed for 1,813 yards and 20 TDs in 304 carries in his high school career thus far. He was just received an offer from Pittsburgh State University.

Choctaw’s offensive line is anchored by twin tackles Chad Mielke (6-3, 285, Sr.) and Cade Kelly (6-5, 295, Jr.). Their size and strength is key in protecting Senior QB Hudson Woods on the edge.

In Choctaw’s season opening win over Sapulpa, Woods threw for 227 yards and one touchdown, while running for 117 yards and three scores.
