A game circled on the calendar at the beginning of every season, Norman and Moore will renew their rivalry in Week 3. Moore has won three straight in the series.
The Ford Game of the Week will be broadcast live on Yurview Oklahoma for customers of Cox Communications and will also stream live on Yurview.com.
Fallen on Hard Times
Moore has recorded just one winning season in the last decade, but its rival, Norman, who has won two state championships, has also had trouble winning games recently. Norman has won one game in each of the last three seasons and hasn’t posted a winning season since 2012.
Norman is off to a great start in 2018, though, having won its first two games against Norman North and Deer Creek each by double digits. Moore is 0-2 and has allowed more than 34 points in each loss.
Norman’s victory against Norman North was its first in five years.

Players to Watch
QB Cade Horton – Norman
A great overall athlete, the junior quarterback committed to the Ole Miss baseball team last year. He also received an offer from Oklahoma to play both football and baseball for the Sooners.
Horton hasn’t attempted many passes in the first two weeks, but he’s averaging nearly 15 yards per attempt. He’s also second on the team in rushing with 112 yards on just 15 carries.
CB Daniel Hishaw – Moore
The defensive back spoiled Norman’s hopes of winning this rivalry contest last year and is one of the keys again for a Moore victory. Hishaw intercepted two Horton passes in last year’s 35-27 victory against Norman.
Hishaw also plays quarterback. He’s recorded 149 rushing yards, which leads the team, 317 passing yards and five total touchdowns in the first two games.
