Landis Morris ALMOST Returns the Opening Kickoff for a TD

Landis Morris was the first Jenks player to touch the football against Edmond Sante Fe. He was also almost the first person to find the endzone.

He took the football and ran straight through the entire Wolves’ coverage team and had only a lone kicker standing between him and the end zone. He sidestepped the kicker but was tracked down at the 11 yard line thanks to some good hustle.

Don’t feel too bad for Morris, his Jenks Trojans would go onto win 39-21 in the Ford Game of the Week.
And to top it off, they eventually managed to get a kickoff into the end zone.

On Friday the Trojans will face the Moore Lions who finished the regular season 4-6 overall and 3-4 in District 2 play.
