“We are just focusing on becoming better every day,” Jenks head coach Jo Johnson said. “I thought this was a good test. We challenged each line. We left some things out there, but as long as we keep improving, we’ll become better.”
Last year, Jenks finished the season 11-5 and return 14 starters from last season.
Jenks has nine state championships under their belt, with the last one coming in 2009.
