It’s that time of year again! It’s Spring Break, and people are getting ready to hit the road to take some time to unwind. Quincy is almost ready to go, but first he stops by to visit our friends at AAA Car Care Center.
Before you take a road trip for Spring Break, the number one thing to check is your TIRES! To do this, you can use a quarter and turn it so that George Washington is upside down. Next, Stick the quarter up against the tread on your tires and If the top of George Washington’s head is showing- it’s probably time for some new tires!
Once you’ve checked your tread, be sure to check that the air pressure in your tires is good to go. It gets you better gas mileage AND better traction on the road when your tires have the correct amount of air pressure!
Next up, make sure all of your lights, signals, and windshield wiper blades are all in good working condition. These are all features that help keep you safe while on the road.
