Virginia Beach Restaurant Week

Sponsored by Virginia Beach Restaurant Week

Virginia Beach Restaurant Week is a week that many in Hampton Roads look forward to. It’s a week where participating restaurants in Virginia Beach showcase their menus at affordable prices. This allows the public to check out new restaurants, new dishes and go outside of their comfort zone- without breaking the bank.

The Living 757 crew is joined by the owner of Sweetwater Cuisine, Jodi Newland, and Sweetwater Cuisine’s executive chef Alvin Hyman.

The participating restaurants are invited to participate by the Virginia Beach Restaurant Association, and between 40-50 restaurants participate every year! That gives anyone looking to go out to eat lots of options.

Sweetwater Cuisine is offering only their restaurant week menu- which features everything from their famous honey pecan fried chicken with macaroni and cheese, to their pistachio encrusted lamb lollipops.

Chef Hyman cooks up a fantastic looking Etoufee, and explains where it originated.

Sweetwater Cuisine is mainly a catering company, but they open their doors for brunch every Sunday! They specialize in Southern Cuisine, which you can enjoy during all of Virginia Beach Restaurant Week!

Sweetwater has founded two nonprofit organizations to give back to the community: Full Circle Project and Daniel’s Grace. To learn more about Sweetwater Cuisine and their charities, visit their website at https://www.sweetwatercuisine.com/.
