It’s Playoff Time! Two Big Match-Ups in Oklahoma and Louisiana (Nov. 10)

After 11 weeks and over 50 top games from around the country, YurView GameTime is excited to continue it’s high school football coverage with first round playoff games in Oklahoma and Louisiana.  You can watch both games on YurView.  

Norman North WR Isaac Stoops

Regional playoff games on Friday, November 10th include an Oklahoma District 6A-I match-up between the Norman North Timberwolves vs. Broken Arrow Tigers.  The second playoff match-up on Friday is Louisiana Class 5A – Denham Springs Yellowjackets vs. Hahnville Tigers.

Friday’s playoff games will be televised in specific Cox markets, and all games stream live on High school football  coverage and previews of this week’s playoff games available at Here’s an overview of this week’s games:

Playoff Match-Up #1:
Norman North vs. Broken Arrow (Oklahoma)

When:  Friday, November 10th – 7:30pm CST

Overview: Game preview HERE.  First round playoff game in Oklahoma 6A-I.  The Norman North Timberwolves comes into the game with a 7-3 record and 5-2 in district.  Broken Arrow Tigers are 6-4 overall and 5-2 in district. Norman North is led by QB Ryan Peoples who has thrown for 2,665 yards and 28 TD’s on the season.  RB Dalyn Alexander (1131 yds/6 TD’s) and the receiving duo of WR’s Drake and Issac Stoops round out the primary offensive weapons.

For the Tigers of Broken Arrow, QB Lafayette Wright has completed 111 of 193 passes for 1,689 yards and 17 TD’s. Their go to offensive weapon is Junior RB Noah Cortes with 1209 rushing yards, 11 TD’s and 7.7 yard average per carry.  Both teams are looking to win their first football state championship.

Playoff Match-Up #2:
Denham Springs vs. Hahnville (Louisiana)

When:  Friday, November 10th – 6:30pm CST (pre-game)

Overview: Game preview HERE.  First round playoff game in Louisiana Class 5A.  This game features two of the best running backs in the area.  The Denham Springs (7-4, 4-3) offense is led by RB Tyre Golman (Arizona State recruit) who has rushed for 1161 yards and 17 TD’s.  A switch has been made at quarterback from senior QB Cameron Feucht to junior QB JP Preston.  Denham Springs defense is led by LB Brennan LeBlanc and DE Kaleb Pipe.

The Hahnville Tigers (8-2, 6-0) are led by RB Anthony “Pooka” Williams (Kansas commit) who has rushed for 1610 yards and 20 TD’s.  Junior QB Jha’quan Jackson switched from receiver earlier in the season.  Combine that with a big, experienced offensive line and the Tigers look to put up lots of points.  Defense leaders include S Hunter LeBlanc and a trio of defensive lineman including Adonis Friloux, Lyncoy Reynard and Jalen Singleton.
