You are invited to join the party as Cox Sports Television celebrates 15 years as the Gulf South Sports Leader.  CST is giving viewers an opportunity to look back at the stories and events that’s helped expand it’s viewership from 400,000 to over 5.5 million and growing.

Since CST was launched on October 28, 2002, the network has televised events that run the gambit of local and regional sports coverage including the New Orleans Hornets, New Orleans Saints, LSU Tigers, Arkansas Razorbacks, New Orleans Baby Cakes (formerly New Orleans Zephyrs), Pensacola Blue Wahoos and more.

“We are proud of what we have built with Cox Sports Television over the past 15 years,” said Rod Mickler, CST head and Cox Vice President of Production. “We appreciate our deep relationships with our teams, their fans, our affiliates and advertisers.  Their interest and support has confirmed our initial assumption in 2002 that the Gulf South region of the United States offered compelling sports that would be of great interest to all sports fans.”

CST begins the 15 week celebration by counting down the Top 15 moments.  Viewers will see and hear from some of the top sports figures involved in helping make CST Louisiana’s only regional sports network.  These moments will be available on the CST social media pages including You Tube, Facebook and Twitter.

CST will also debut the network’s 15-Year Anniversary Special. Produced by Emmy-Award winning producer Tom Gregory, the hour-long show will recall the past 15 years with special guests and behind-the-scenes stories of the Gulf South Sports Leader.
