Summer is in full effect here on the Ninth Island of Las Vegas and that means it is hot! The average daily temperatures are typically north of 100 degrees, cooling down slightly in the evenings into the low 90’s. This is a great time of the year to enjoy the indoor attractions, like the Bellagio Conservatory or the light shows inside of the Miracle Mile Shops, where you can also get your retail fix and find some great deals on dining and drinks. There’s also shopping outlets like the Forum Shoppes at Caesars Palace, The Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian and the largest mall in Nevada, Fashion Show Las Vegas, along with tons of fun attractions on and off the strip.

Of course, Las Vegas celebrates the Fourth of July in true Vegas fashion with fireworks on the Las Vegas Strip, as well as off strip and downtown. On the Strip fireworks will take place at 9pm off the rooftop of Caesar’s Palace. Off Strip, Stations Casinos will also have fireworks at three of their properties across the Vegas Valley, including Red Rock Casino, Resort and Spa, Green Valley Ranch Resort and Casino and Durango Resort and Casino. In addition, both Lake Las Vegas and Boulder City will hold their annual fireworks displays on July 4th. Downtown, The Plaza Hotel and Casino will have their annual fourth fireworks at 9pm. The Plaza does continue to have their Friday fireworks every Friday throughout the summer as well, so even if you’re not here over the Independence Day celebration, you can still catch fireworks in Las Vegas.

Of course, this is in addition to all of the regular shows happening in Las Vegas, which are definitely worth adding to your list. As always, we recommend checking into the policies for both the venue and performer for any event you plan on attending to ensure that you’re aware of what you can bring with you. Also, be sure to stay up to date on any event that you plan on attending, as events can get cancelled, even at the last minute. In June we saw this with Rod Stewart who had three shows scheduled at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, which he cancelled the morning of his first show.
