It seems like it’s going to be yet another quick year, and with everything happening in Vegas time will truly fly by while you’re here having fun! Thankfully, the beautiful Las Vegas Strip has returned back to normal, now that all of the Formula 1 construction has been removed. And with the excitement of all of the restaurants that recently opened, along with those who are close to finally opening, there’s going to be a lot of fun new dining options for all of us foodies.

While the entertainment is hot, the temperatures here on the Ninth Island of Las Vegas are cool. Now in the daytime, we typically see highs in the upper 50’s to mid-60’s; however, in the evenings it can still drop into the 30’s, so be sure to bring a jacket. This is a great time of the year to enjoy all of the fun indoor attractions.
We recently enjoyed a few fun attractions lately, including Atomic Golf, Flyover Las Vegas and Swingers Crazy Golf, all of which are located on the Strip. We also checked out the new Crash N Burn located inside of Neonopolis on the Fremont Street Experience for some mini bowling. All four of these unique attractions were so much fun and a great way to take a break from the casinos.

Atomic Golf is located right next to The STRAT. This 100,000 square foot entertainment venue boasts four levels of fun. Of course, you can practice your putting, as well as hit golf balls from the bays, but you can also fire golf balls out of a cannon! Along with the games, they have several bars and a full kitchen with some unique and delicious dishes.

While still a golf venue, Swingers Crazy Golf located inside of Mandalay Bay is totally different from Atomic Golf. Swingers is a multi-level English garden that certainly went extra for their Vegas location. They also have Carnival, which is an old school arcade, with games like Skee ball and Whac-a-mole. Swingers is just for the big kids, as you need to be 21+ to enter.

Flyover Las Vegas is located across from Park MGM, next to Hard Rock Cafe. This thrilling, immersive experience gives guests the feeling of flight. While soaring over various cities across the globe, all of the senses are impacted with the sights, sounds, smells and actual wind and mist that you’ll experience on this must do attraction.

And last, but certainly not least, Crash N Burn, located in Neonopolis next to the Slotzilla Zipline, is a fun addition to the Fremont Street Experience. This family-friendly entertainment venue has arcade games, large scale yard games and the only Duckpin Bowling that you’ll find downtown. And if you happen to bowl a perfect game, you can win $3000 for your talent! In the evenings, it has more of a nightclub vibe, with music, a full bar and amazing views of the brave zipliners taking off from Slotzilla.

Of course, Las Vegas is a hot spot for Super Bowl viewing parties. If you plan on being in Vegas on February 9th, Super Bowl Sunday, keep in mind that many of the typical places that you would usually watch sports, like sportsbooks and sports bars will likely be reservation only, along with a fee. For example, Circa Sportsbook is charging $500 per person; however, you can catch the game in the pool at Circa’s Stadium Swim for $125 per person. Restaurants like Carmine’s in the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace and Virgil’s BBQ in the LINQ Promenade even have gameday packages in the $200’s. And of course it is Vegas, so it is not surprising that some of the gentlemen’s clubs are also hosting viewing parties starting at $125 per person. This is just to name a few, so if you’re planning to catch the big game in Las Vegas, be sure to do your research and make your reservations in advance.
Of course, all of the regular Las Vegas shows that are the heart of the Entertainment Capital are still going on throughout the month and are certainly worth adding to your Vegas itinerary. If you’re attending an event in Vegas, be sure to do your research on the policies for both the artist and the venue.
