Wisconsin QB Commit Graham Mertz & SC Creative Director Joe Johnson

Wisconsin QB Commit Graham Mertz

Over the Middle host Jeremy Crabtree kicks off this episode by taking a look at the MidFirst Bank Backyard Bowl, the annual rivalry game in Tulsa, OK between Jenks and Union being held on September 7 and streaming live on YurView.com.

Joe Johnson, Creative Director for the University of South Carolina is the show’s first guest. Johnson was one of the pioneers of “edits”, the social media designs that are an important part of the recruiting process. Johnson talks about how these edits are created, why they’ve become a key recruiting tool and the future of designers in college football offices.

Jeremy is also joined by Graham Mertz of Blue Valley North High School in Mission, Kansas. Mertz, ranked as the nation’s No. 2 pro-style quarterback by Rivals, is a Wisconsin Badger commitment.
