Event Information & History

Oklahoma Jr. High All-State Wrestling started 47 years ago under former high school wrestling coach Lelan Clark. Clark, who passed away in 2022, was a National Wrestling Hall of Fame Honoree and recipient of the Lifetime Service to Wrestling award from the Oklahoma Chapter of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame.

The event will take place at the Jim Norick Arena located at State Fair Park in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

The announcers for Saturday’s event are Steve Marshall and Mike Clark. Clark is a former wrestling coach, Athletic Director at Yukon, and currently the Assistant Director for the OSSAA. He is also the son of the tournament founder Lelan Clark.
