Game Film: Broken Arrow vs. Edmond Santa Fe

In a battle of unbeaten teams, the top-ranked Broken Arrow Tigers traveled to take on the Wolves of Edmond Santa Fe.  The Tigers dominated the Wolves in this match-up to remain the only unbeaten team in Oklahoma Class 6A-I.

Broken Arrow running back Noah Cortes scored first to give the Tigers a 7-0 lead.  The Tigers defense scored on an interception return by Aaron “Tricky” Stokes to make it 14-0.  Broken Arrow QB Quintevin Cherry kept the ball and ran it in to give the Tigers a 21-0 halftime lead.

In the second half, Quintevin Cherry hooked up with Isaiah Keller for a 27-yard touchdown pass to to put Broken Arrow up 28-0.  Edmond Santa Fe went scoreless in the third quarter, and the Tigers were dominating all facets of the game.

In the fourth quarter, running back Zach Marcheselli with a hard nosed touchdown run put Broken Arrow up 35-0.  With just over two minutes in the game, Edmond Santa Fe running back Tyler Travis gets the late score to avoid the shut out.

Final score: Broken Arrow Tigers defeat the Edmond Santa Fe Wolves 35-7. Broken Arrow is 7-0 overall and 4-0 in district play. Six of those wins have been blowout victories.  Edmond Santa Fe falls to 6-1 overall and 3-1 in district play.
