The Moore Lions hosted the Norman Tigers for Homecoming Friday night in Moore, Oklahoma.
Moore moved right down the field on their first possession. Daniel Hishaw, Jr. completed a ten yard pass to Dylan Buccheit for a touchdown. Moore had the early lead 7-0.
Early in the second quarter Norman scored. This one came on a 2 yard run by Norman quarterback Cade Horton that tied the score at 7.
Then with less than two minutes to go in the first half it was Hishaw to Buccheit again. This time they produced a 40 yard touchdown. Moore led 14-7 at the half.
In the second half both teams moved the ball up and down the field but neither could score. Moore ran out the last couple of minutes to clinch the 14-7 win.
Dylan Buccheit had 4 receptions for 98 yards and two touchdowns. Daniel Hishaw, Jr. was 12/19 passing for two touchdowns. He rushed the ball 15 times for 46 yards.
Moore is now 1-2. Norman is now 2-1. District play begins next week.
The Player of the game was Dylan Buccheit of Moore. Had four catches 98 yards and two touchdowns and had a good performance defensively as well.
The Play of the game was a 40 yard touchdown pass from Daniel Hishaw, Jr. to Dylan Buccheit. It came with 1:31 remaining in the second quarter and proved to be the winning score.
