Ford Game of the Week: Bixby vs. Sand Springs 10-18-18

6A II number one ranked Bixby played the Sand Springs Sandites Thursday night in Sand Springs, Oklahoma.

Bixby scored early in the first quarter on a 33-yard pass from quarterback Mason Williams to senior wide receiver Cade Cavender.  The Spartans led 7-0.  Later in the quarter junior running back Braden Roller scored on a 50-yard run.  After one-quarter Bixby was up 14-0.

Bixby kept it going in the second quarter.  Freshman running back Braylon Presley had a 53-yard touchdown run at the 10:56 mark.  Then a 49-yard pass play from Williams to Cavender set up a 1 yard Roller touchdown.  Bixby was rolling with a 28-0 halftime lead.

Early in the fourth quarter, Williams connected with junior wide receiver Luke Creeger for an 8-yard touchdown pass.  Bixby went on to defeat  Sand Springs 35-0.

Bixby is now 5-0 in district play, 7-1 overall.  Sand Springs is 1-4 in district, 2-6 overall.
