Restaurants Adapt to New Way of Life

Confronting the challenges faced during this pandemic hasn’t been easy.  From non-profits to restaurants, we are all adapting to new ways to complete simple tasks from fundraising for a “good cause” to “take out food.”

Restaurants have been particularly hit hard.  Kate Longworth talked with President and CEO, Steve Chucri of the Arizona Restaurant Association about the efforts to keep business’ open by converting operations to “take out only.”

From restaurants to non-profit organizations, now more than ever, many Arizonans need a helping hand.  We reached out to touch base with President and CEO, Carla Vargas Jasa with the Valley of the Sun United Way.

We continue our theme of helping others with this challenge, why not help someone while helping yourself to a sweet treat?  We pay a visit to the family owned Cerreta Candy Company. The pandemic forced them to close the store for a bit, however, they adapted to include online and curbside service.

The Outlets at Anthem is a premiere shopping destination as well as host to many restaurants who call the district home.   Let’s go behind-the-scenes for an up close look at the various shops and services you’ll find.
