Wichita State went looking in New England to find its backcourt of the future, and boy did New England deliver for Gregg Marshall.
Tyson Etienne and Noah Fernandes are both freshmen with the 2019-20 Shockers, and undoubtedly the New England Prep and AAU circuits have prepared them well. It seems they’ve already made quite an impression.
Got to watch some 1-on-1 King of the Court at WSU with a handful of players and one of my takeaways was freshman Noah Fernandes.
He’s tough and competitive as hell. Can really stroke it from outside. Only 5’11”, but has good hops. Definitely fits the mold of a Marshall player.

After seeing them play throughout their high school careers, Adam Finkelstein believes they complement each other extremely well.
